Who we are

Michael Wade is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and has over 10 years of counseling experience. Michael started the counseling field at Child Guidance Center, where he worked with children, adolescents, and families. He then moved to Wolfson Children's Hospital to work as a counselor in their inpatient unit. In 2015, he started his private practice, which has grown into River City Mental Health Counseling, LLC. 

Michael holds professional memberships with the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

 Michael is licensed in the State of Florida as a LMHC and holds board certification through the NBCC as a National Certified Counselor. He also holds certification in Trauma Focused CBT.

Michael earned his Doctor of Philsophy at the University of the Cumberlands, his Master of Arts degree from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
